Over the past five years, my jewelry tastes have ebbed and flowed, but mostly, I think they’ve matured. In high school, they called me the “dangly earring girl,” I essentially wore anything long dangly that I could get my hands on. In college, you could find me wearing large, artsy and bohemian statement pieces. Lately, although I still like to rock anything boho, I’ve been gravitating more toward gold everything, anything with a sleek and sophisticated design and a classy soul. I recently reached out to a handful of our favorite jewelry brands to see what their best gold jewels of the moment are and this is what we discovered below. We would love to hear in the comments below – what jewelry are you loving on lately?!

ANOTHER FEATHER

Often described as ‘jewelry for the non-jewelry wearer’, Another Feather simple staples are handcrafted to be worn day in and out. Designer and founder, Hannah Ferrara, uses traditional metal smithing techniques and tools to carefully craft each item. Each collection fully embraces the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, the art of imperfection.

Medallion Earrings – we love these large brass statement earrings made from finely twisted coils of rope.

Thin rope ring – a thin twisted solid cast ring in 14k gold, what could be better?

Linke earrings – these unique earrings are hand formed brass long loops hung from a tube so that they move freely. A new and artistic approach to a classic hoop earring.

Velia necklace – this soft gold 14k necklace is a delicate masterpiece and so fun to wear alone or layer with another beautiful gold necklace, of course.

YOUNG FRANKK

Founded in 2012 by self-taught jewelry designer, Christine Young, Young Frankk offers a wide array of one-of-a-kind accessories. Each necklace, bracelet, ring, and set of earrings is created for the thoughtful and distinctively independent wearer. In efforts to minimize their environmental impact and as a respect to nature, all jewelry is made in Los Angelos using recycled metals and locally sourced materials.

Hoop Earrings – we are loving these over-sized handmade hoops on gold-filled posts.

Outline earrings – a different take on the classic hoop earring that is just the right amount of flair when added to any outfit.

URSA MAJOR

In 2009, jewelry designer Kate Jones launched Ursa Major, a jewelry brand named after the sailboat she traveled aboard as a little girl. Each piece is reminiscent of the stillness of the sea, carefully made with the finest of materials. How dreamy is that?!

Matina Hoop – these strong little hoops are small but mighty. Pair them with absolutely anything because they are just that good.

Pilar ring – available in sterling silver, yellow or rose gold. These little pillars of strength come with a beautiful inlaid stone on the top.

Stella bands – these simple yet refined bands are great for stacking or wearing alone.

VRAI & ORO

Striving to push boundaries in the jewelry industry, Vrai & Oro has introduced an unconventional approach to selling fine jewelry. Quality, simplicity, and transparency make up the foundations of the brand. All products are manufactured in Los Angelos, using the best of the best materials, such as solid gold and high-quality diamonds. No retail markups, middleman costs, import expenses and designer inflation allow Vrai & Oro to keep prices low in comparison to other fine jewelry brands.

Square ring – these little stackable rings are the perfect gift or addition to your hand.

Square stud earrings – these 14k yellow gold earrings are the perfect pair to toss on when you are feeling those minimalist vibes.

Fem. necklace – this necklace celebrates the collective female spirit. When worn it symbolizes progress and the power of women coming together.
