Return yourselves to 1906: the year French luxury jewellery maison Van Cleef & Arpels was first established, and the scene from which its newly unveiled Sydney boutique, replete with its addition of Salon 1906, took inspiration for its redesign.
Located on Sydney’s Castlereagh Street, the store has been newly designed to transport customers and appeal to our Parisian senses, with its interiors staged to appear like an apartment in the heart of the city of lights, and luxury.
One of the most exciting features of the new store, the Salon 1906, gives way to a new client experience where customers can immerse themselves in the jewellery house’s storied history and take in the sights of its collections and archival documents, tracing the maison’s narrative from the past and into the present.
Adjacent to the Salon 1906, customers will find the Bridal Suite, where Art Deco accents decorate the space and allow for client privacy. These design motifs extend throughout the store, which features a lounge area, dining room and two additional salons: the Poetic Salon and the Art Deco Salon, inspired by the house’s minaudières and intended to reflect its rich craftsmanship and heritage as an arbiter of taste and style.
Below, journey inside the space as it recalls an elegant apartment in Paris and inspires your next visit to see the offerings of the maison in real life.
